What is the average timeline of a home remodeling project or room addition?
The timeline varies quite a bit depending on the size of the job, some of our smaller outdoor patio projects have taken only a few weeks, and there are full home remodels that take months. Before the project begins Rick will give the client a start date and a completion date, and we always do our best to keep the project on schedule from start to finish.
What are the steps if I am interested in starting a new construction project with RCB?
Reach out to our office at 980-299-5475 or email us at info@rcbconstructionmgmt.com with information on the type of project you’re looking to do and if you have a budget or budget range in mind. From there Rick will speak with you about your project and set up a time to come out to take a look at the property and will provide an estimate on the spot. We will then give you a written estimate with the pricing breakdown and depending on the project we may provide preliminary drawings to give you an idea of what we are proposing. Once you sign the contract we will plan the trades schedule beginning on your start date.

The subcontractors used in the process of increasing the height of my garage door were very professional and very good at their craft. The original superintendent assigned to the job left seemingly on good terms and Rick was helpful in ensuring the transition to the new superintendent George went smoothly. I really liked working with George he was very calm and collective and always followed up in a timely manner. They also handled the permitting which was a nice touch.

I was looking to build an in-law suite/apartment attached to the main (my) house and RCB had the closest profile to what I was looking for (more than a renovation, less than a McMansion). I was really pleased that Rick (the owner) contacted me almost immediately, as that was sort of my litmus test of whether or not I would want to work with a particular company. It took a long time for the plans to get permitted but once they did, the construction phase happened fast! I can't speak to whether or not it was a good value as I have nothing to compare it to. The project was expensive but I think the cost was fair enough. I do have to say that George (Rick's construction manager) was AMAZING to work with!

The foreman for the project, George, stayed on top of the project and managed the various sub-contractors who were necessary to complete the project in a timely and efficient manner. We were pleased with the service provided and extremely happy with the finished result. We would absolutely use RCB again for future projects.

Mike Keehan2022-10-16After months of searching for a contractor to do some framing and drywall installation, a friend recommended reaching out to RCB Construction Management to review and quote this project. A few days after I made the call I met with Rick. We went over the project and what my expectations were, including price and the timeline for completion. Once we had an agreement I met with my assigned project manager. He took care of everything, from material delivery to ensuring his guys arrived on time and cleaned up after each day. The project manager and I were in constant communication throughout the project he stressed to me that if I saw something I did not like to contact him immediately and he would be sure to get it resolved I would like to stress upon anyone reading this review to do your homework, I have been burned by a few contractors in the past. Some will talk a good game but then fail to deliver. RCB on the other hand will deliver what they promise and make sure your project is completed in a timely and professional manner.
